Hello Reader, Every year I attempt to get this nasty goutweed out of my garden. It’s in the front yard as well as at the back of the house. The roots go so deep and they pop up underneath and spread like crazy. Honestly I cannot get a handle on it and maybe its impossible to get all of the roots. This year there are more than ever. Last year when I was working in the garden and getting rid of this terrible weed, I started to think of it as similar to clutter. If you don’t get to the roots the weeds just come back. This is such a great metaphor for the clutter in our lives. If you don't get to the root cause of the clutter, it will likely come back just like those weeds. Maybe you have had some help in the past and have been able to get your kitchen or entranceway in order. If you did not get to the underlying cause of the clutter, why it is there in the first place and what is driving you to hold onto things........... the clutter is going to resurface. Some things that will help: . Looking at your why’s . Developing a plan of action . Looking deeper into the thoughts and beliefs that come up . Recognizing where you are stuck . Practicing some new skills and habits . Establishing a new decluttering mindset . Transforming your space Want more info about how I can help........just reply to this email I am available for one hour appointments as well - Only $60.00 Or.....if you know how I can get rid of that nasty goutweed I would love to hear from you. Hello Reader, I know for myself it can be hard to ask for help. I have worked in the helping profession all my life and I was always there for others. When it came to myself it has been a different story. Thankfully, I do find it easier now! This question really hit me when my mom was 91 and she was living on her own. I had offered to help her to downsize many times but she was adamant that she could do it herself and did not need any help. Unfortunately, I did not see any evidence of this...
