Secrets to Successful Goals

Hello Reader,

I asked some of my peeps this question......

What do I make look easy that might not be so easy for you?

And the biggest theme was consistency and the fact that I just keep showing up day after day. It is true that I never give up or at least I do not give up easily. But more importantly I believe its about being accountable to others. I want people to trust me so I make sure that I show up on a daily and/or weekly basis.

Being accountable to others is such a powerful way to stay focused and on track with our own goals. How often are we not accountable to ourselves? We say we are going to do yoga every day, eat healthier, go to the gym or for a daily walk, write every day or declutter our bedrooms .......but if no one else knows about your goals what is the harm in not following through? It is so easy to let ourselves down. Right!

When I work with my clients I find that they are on track with the goals they set for themselves on Day One. My clients might feel like its not happening quick enough or that their goals have shifted somewhat. But the important thing is that they keep showing up, are consistent and following through with taking actions. They are making progress every week.

Writing our goals down, telling others what we are planning, making sure our goals are realistic and doable are all great ways to really manifest what you want. Accountability is powerful and a key to being successful with your goals!

I did an interview last week about my personal writing journey. I contributed two chapters in two multi author books. The first one was called Seasons of Love, Loss and Personal Power which tells my story about my early years. In the second book my chapter was called Change of Heart - A Love Story - Really a full circle story. Let me know if you want links to the books. Or, if you would like to write your own story, I can give you a contact.

Here is the interview

Would you love to have a conversation with me about your goals? You can book a time with me here!

Until next time,

Happy Decluttering!

Hello Reader, Physical and Emotional Clutter Yes, they do go together! A good example of this is when we are feeling uneasy, anxious or even upset about an issue or a situation. We might even feel stuck where we just don't want to do anything. We can't move forward and we just want to numb ourselves until these uncomfortable feelings go away. Ugh! Can you relate? Quite awhile ago I was quite upset and disappointed with a "friend". There was a group of us who were planning a road trip...

Hello Reader, You sit in your favourite chair and have all of your treasured things close by and just within arms reach. You have you tea or other favourite beverage beside you. You have your blanket and maybe your kitty on your lap. And this is your safe and happy place. Can you relate to this? I have my hand up here too! We often think of clutter as laziness, messiness, or just “too much stuff.” But maybe it’s more than that? What if it’s a kind of a protection that we create for ourselves?...
